Our Balau Hardwood Decking is perfect for the constant wetting and drying of our climate, a hard dense & durable tropical timber its approximately twice the density and weight of Pine its also virtually Knot Free.
When newly machined Balau is a light straw yellow in colour rapidly changing to a very pleasing Red Brown Mahogany colour with exposure to UV Light before eventually turning a Silver Grey colour like all other Timber unless finished with a suitable oil at the Red Brown Stage.
